Solo Climbing Belay Device

The Rock Exotica Soloist belay device is a great tool designed specifically for solo climbing. This device works by a directional cam feeding the climbing rope through automatically as the climber ascends the wall, and locks out in the case of a fall. The Soloist is suitable for lead climbing, top roping, and it can also be used to rappel on. These belay devices are not recommended for novice climbers, and requires a deep understanding of how ropes and rigging work.
