Detailed Description
Petzl Triact CarabinersThe William Triact locking carabiner is well suited for use in belaying and rapelling. It offers a large size to allow anchoring of several climbing ropes. The wide gate on the carabiner's opening allows clipping of large diameter ropes. Pear shape is particularly suited to belaying; facilitates the reversal of an Italian (Munter) hitch. These Petzl Triact carabiners feature an automatic locking system (metallic sleeve) which is easy to operate, even with belay gloves. Allows rapid unlocking with two movements. The William carabiner features Petzl's patented Keylock system for a snag-free body / gate interface. Avoids accidental snagging of the carabiner onto the anchor, the rope, or the harness.
