Petzl Descenders

The Petzl Simple descender is similar to the Stop, but without the self-braking features. The speed of descent on these Petzl rope climbing descenders is controlled by varying your grip on the free end climbing rope.

The Petzl Simple descender's one-handed operation can be an advantage in narrow pits.
The braking bobbins are replaceable.
